To produce a Sequence
number that produces the terms of C (n, m)
(please remember C (n, m) means the number of ways to select m items
from a group of n items):
First decide how many
digits you need to have for your biggest terms, and write down that number of
nines.
Second, decide what m
will be, what number of items will you be selecting from the group. Use (m + 1) as an exponent for your string of
nines.
In the last example we
wanted to do 13 digit strings, and we were selecting 13 items from the group,
hence: 9,999,999,999,99914.
